Holding onto the One I Love

Andy and I are still holding flippers after 29 years of marriage and we're never going to let each other go.

    1. Beate,

The picture is cute, isn't it? I had to smile: I gave Andy a card with cute penguins and he gave me one with a picture of two old people! I guess that's where we're headed together.

We did have a happy day. Flowers appeared mysteriously in a vase on the table. Immy made a delicious chocolate anniversary cake. Duncan gave us a champagne glass gift pack and Callum has just arrived home with cheese, biscuits, chocolate... Sophie painted us a beautiful anniversary picture. And we received lots of love.

    1. Vicky,

      Thank you for your greeting!

We had a very special dinner last night. Andy took me to a local Italian restaurant. We ordered a main course each, a salad to share, and garlic bread pizza. The portions were so big, the food could have fed at least four people. Andy gallantly tried to eat as much as possible but didn't succeed in clearing the plates. It was all so delicious. It had been a long time since our last dinner out. It was lovely to sit and talk by ourselves and take photos and laugh...

      God bless!

    1. Hi Angela,

I guess that's a lot of years we're celebrating! We know a couple who have been married for 63 years so I guess we are still in the early years of our marriage compared to them!

      Thank you for your congratulations.
